9) Data processing in the “perfumoto” app

Activation and authorisation
To activate and use the “perfumoto” app, your order number and the first name provided with your order are processed. This information is used to verify that you are authorised to use the app.

Firebase / Cloud Firestore
We use Cloud Firestore, a service provided as part of Google's Firebase platform, to provide the required database functionality. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The database is used solely to verify your authorisation to use the app. No user profiles are created and no analytics or tracking data regarding your use of the app is stored.

Processing is carried out to provide the app functionality associated with the product you purchased and is therefore based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The data required for verification is generally stored for the duration for which the app is provided and can be used, as this data is required to verify your authorisation.

When using Firebase or other Google services, it cannot be completely ruled out that data may be processed outside the European Union or European Economic Area.

No tracking or analytics
The app does not use user tracking, Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics. No usage profiles are created regarding your behaviour within the app.

Push notifications
The app currently does not send push notifications. If this functionality is introduced in the future and consent is required for the associated processing, your consent will be obtained before such processing takes place.

10) Data processing in the “ambitrim” app

The “ambitrim” app is used to set up, configure and control compatible ambitrim® Ultra ambient lighting systems.

Activation and order number
To use the app, you must enter your order number. The order number is checked against the order numbers stored in our database. If the order number entered is not present in the database, the app cannot be used.

For this verification, we process only your order number. Your name, address, lighting settings or other information from your order is not stored in the app database for this purpose.

Your order number is processed to provide the app functionality associated with the product you purchased and is therefore based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Firebase / Cloud Firestore
We use Cloud Firestore, a service provided as part of Google's Firebase platform, to verify your order number. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Only the order number is stored in Cloud Firestore for this purpose. In particular, no lighting settings, names, audio data, location data, controller configurations or usage profiles are stored there.

The order number is generally stored for the duration for which the app is provided and can be used, as it is required as proof of authorisation to use the app.

When using Firebase or other Google services, it cannot be completely ruled out that data may be processed outside the European Union or European Economic Area.

Bluetooth
The ambitrim app uses Bluetooth to connect to and control compatible ambitrim® Ultra controllers.

Information exchanged via Bluetooth is processed exclusively locally between your device and the respective controller. Bluetooth and controller information is not transmitted to our Firebase database.

Depending on your operating system, the use of or search for Bluetooth devices may require the corresponding Bluetooth or location permission. We use this permission solely for the technical establishment of the Bluetooth connection. Your location is not collected, stored or transmitted to us by the ambitrim app.

Microphone and Sound Mode
If you activate Sound Mode in the ambitrim app, the app requires access to your device's microphone. Audio signals detected by the microphone are processed exclusively locally and in real time so that the ambient lighting can react to music or surrounding sounds.

The audio data is not recorded or permanently stored and is not transmitted to us, Firebase, Google or any other third party. Microphone access is used solely for the functionality of Sound Mode.

Personalised greeting
You can enter a name in the ambitrim app for the personalised greeting. This name is stored exclusively locally on your device and is not transmitted to us, Firebase or any other third party.

Lighting settings and configurations
Your settings for colours, animations, zones, welcome programs, groups and other ambient lighting functions are processed exclusively locally and/or exchanged between the app and the corresponding controllers. These settings are not stored in our Firebase database.

No tracking or analytics
The ambitrim app does not use user tracking, Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics. We do not create usage profiles and do not analyse which colours, animations or other functions you use.

No additional device access
Apart from the permissions required for Bluetooth and the optional Sound Mode, the ambitrim app does not currently access your camera, contacts or photos.

Push notifications
The ambitrim app currently does not send push notifications. If this functionality is introduced in the future and consent is required for the associated processing, your consent will be obtained before such processing takes place.

Android and iOS
The ambitrim app is available for Android and iOS. Depending on the operating system used, the names and technical requirements of individual permissions may differ.

Your rights regarding app data
If you would like information about the personal data processed in connection with the app or wish to request its deletion, you can contact us at any time using the contact details provided in our legal notice. If the order number required for activation is deleted, this may result in the app no longer being activated or usable.
