Installation notes:
The surface must be dry, clean, and free of grease to ensure proper adhesion.It must also be smooth and load-bearing. Porous or non-load-bearing surfaces, and overhead installations, require additional spray/contact adhesive. We recommend these two adhesives: Würth spray adhesive (e.g. for door panel inlays, center consoles) and Pattex Classic contact adhesive (for more demanding areas such as headliners, dashboards, trunk linings). Pattex generally adheres more strongly than Würth.
Peel off the backing film evenly across the full width! If you need smaller pieces, roughly cut them first with the transfer film in place, then remove it. For larger sections, we recommend working in pairs. Be careful while peeling – once the film is removed, indivitara becomes very flexible and strongly sticks to itself.
The material is easier to cut with the transfer film still attached. After that, only use a scalpel or sharp utility knife.
The film should not be exposed to direct sunlight. If it is, we recommend using an impregnating agent, such as our Sudworx UV BLOCKER.
Please do not use a heat gun. It will burn the fibers and won’t help stretch the material – unlike vinyl wrap films.
When removing indivitara, adhesive residue may remain. These can be cleaned with alcohol-based cleaners.
Shipping information:
To minimize shipping costs, microfiber fabric longer than 1.0 m will be shipped folded. Don’t worry – once applied, no creases or fold marks will remain.
