• Compact Design: The JBL® Club A1000 amplifier features a shallow chassis and small overall footprint to fit into even more vehicles with limited space.
• High and Low Level Inputs: Speaker-level and low-level inputs allow the JBL® Club A1000 to be integrated into most factory or aftermarket stereo systems.
• Variable Crossover and Bass Boost: Unlike many other amplifiers available at similar price points, the JBL® Club A1000 features variable electronic crossovers and bass boost circuits, allowing for precise system tuning and performance.
• Low Noise and Low Distortion: The Club A1000 was developed with balanced differential inputs to ensure low noise and low distortion, even at high output levels. This also makes it significantly less susceptible to line-induced radiated engine noise.
• Input Level Control: When low-level inputs are used, this control adjusts the input sensitivity between 200 mV RMS and 2.0 V RMS. When high-level inputs are used, this control adjusts the input sensitivity between 2 V RMS and 20 V RMS.
• Full Integrated Protection: An integrated circuit protects the Club A1000 from short circuits, over-temperature, and over- and under-voltage. The LED indicator shows when one of these conditions is present.
• Phase Switch: This switch changes the inversion of the input phase between inverted and non-inverted. This is particularly helpful in system optimization, based on the enclosure type and placement in the vehicle.
• RBC Wired Remote: The wired RBC remote is easy to install and can be mounted for convenient volume adjustment from the driver's seat.
• Linkable for up to 2,000 Watts of Power at 4 Ohms: Two Club A1000s can also be linked together to double their power. The master amplifier has absolute control over the secondary in terms of crossover points, gain, and remote control.
• Class D Amplifier Technology: The JBL® Club A1000 mono subwoofer amplifier delivers 1000 watts RMS using a Class D amplifier design to ensure high output and minimal current draw.
• Turn-On Mode: This switch ("Turn-On Mode") changes from DC to REM to switch between low and high-level signals. This is particularly helpful with a remote turn-on wire. A selectable "Turn-On Mode" can protect the battery from draining if the amplifier is not switched on for a while.

Installation Instructions

1. Preparation: Before you begin installing the JBL® Club A1000 amplifier, make sure you have disconnected the vehicle battery to avoid potential electrical issues.
2. Choosing the Mounting Location: The amplifier should be mounted in a well-ventilated area of the vehicle to prevent overheating during operation. Popular mounting options include the trunk, footwell, or under the seats. Ensure the amplifier is mounted on a stable surface and that there's enough space for air circulation.
3. Securing the Amplifier: The JBL® Club A1000 comes with the necessary mounting screws. Use these to securely and stably fix the amplifier. Make sure the amplifier is firmly seated and cannot vibrate.
4. Wiring:

• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Power Supply: Connect the amplifier to the vehicle battery using the included power supply cable. Make sure to connect the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals correctly.
• Speaker Connections: Connect the speaker cables to the corresponding outputs of the amplifier. Ensure the polarity (positive/negative) is connected correctly to avoid phase errors and sound distortion.
•  Signal Source: Connect the audio source (e.g., the radio output or an audio interface) to the amplifier's input. Make sure the input level is set correctly.

5. Settings and Fine-Tuning: Once the amplifier is installed and connected, reconnect the vehicle battery and turn on the audio system. Check all connections and test the speakers for proper function. Adjust the amplifier as needed to achieve the desired sound.

6. Test Run: After installation, perform a complete test to ensure the amplifier is functioning correctly. Check for any distortions or overheating and ensure all speakers are connected properly.
