The Club A5055 5-channel amplifier delivers a powerful 50 watts RMS to each of the car's front and rear speakers, and 500 watts RMS to the subwoofer channel – a much more intelligent subwoofer-to-full-range power ratio than is typical for 5-channel amplifiers. The amplifier can also be bridged in 3-channel mode to deliver 140 watts RMS to your front speakers, while still providing 500 watts RMS to the subwoofer. Speaker-level inputs allow this amplifier to be integrated into almost any system, even one using your car's factory-installed radio. Separate high and low-pass crossovers on the front and rear channels enable perfect adjustment according to speaker placement and optimal interior acoustics. The subwoofer channel features a low-pass crossover, an adjustable bass boost, and a phase switch to optimize subwoofer performance.
Features:
- Compact Design: The JBL® Club A5055 amplifier features a low-profile chassis and a small overall footprint to fit into even more vehicles with limited space.
- High and Low-Level Inputs: Speaker-level and low-level inputs allow the JBL® Club A5055 to be integrated into most factory-installed or aftermarket stereo systems.
- Variable Crossover and Bass Boost: Unlike many other amplifiers available at similar price points, the JBL® Club A5055 features variable electronic crossovers and bass boost circuits, enabling precise system tuning and performance.
- Low Noise and Low Distortion: The Club A5055 was designed with balanced differential inputs to ensure low noise and low distortion even at high output levels. This also makes it significantly less susceptible to line-induced radiated engine noise.
- Input Level Control: When using low-level inputs, this control adjusts the input sensitivity between 200mV RMS and 2.0V RMS. When using high-level inputs, this control adjusts the input sensitivity between 2V RMS and 20V RMS.
- Full On-Board Protection: An integrated circuit protects the Club A5055 from short circuits, over-temperature, and over- and undervoltage. The LED indicator shows when one of these conditions is present.
- Phase Switch: This switch changes the inversion of the input phase. This is particularly helpful for the subwoofer channel.
- RBC Wired Remote: The wired RBC remote is easy to install and can be mounted for convenient volume adjustment from the driver's seat.
- Class AB+D Amplifier Technology: The JBL® Club A5055 subwoofer amplifier delivers 780 watts RMS using a Class AB+D amplifier design to ensure high power and minimal current draw.
- Turn-On Mode: This switch ("Turn-On Mode") changes from DC to REM to switch between low- and high-level signals. This is particularly helpful with a remote turn-on wire.
