Installation Notes:
The surface must be dry, clean, and free of grease to ensure maximum adhesion of the film.It must also be smooth and stable. Non-load-bearing, porous, and open-pore surfaces as well as overhead applications will not hold without additional spray/brush adhesive. We generally recommend these two adhesives: Würth Spray Adhesive (for door panel inlays, center consoles, etc.) and Pattex Classic Contact Adhesive (for demanding applications such as headliners, dashboards, trunk linings, etc.). Pattex Classic adheres more strongly than Würth spray adhesive.
Only peel off the transfer film on the back evenly across the entire width! If you need smaller pieces, cut them with the transfer paper still on and remove it afterward. For larger pieces, we recommend working in pairs. Be careful when removing the transfer film. Once it’s off, indivitara becomes very flexible and will stick strongly to itself.
The film is easier to cut while the transfer film is still attached. Afterward, only use a scalpel or similarly sharp knife.
The film should not be exposed directly to sunlight. In such cases, we recommend an impregnation spray, such as our Sudworx UV BLOCKER.
Do not use a hot air gun. It will burn the fibers of the fabric and does not help stretch it better. Very different from car wrapping vinyl.
When removing the indivitara, adhesive residue may remain. These can be removed with alcohol-based cleaners.
Shipping Information:
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, microfiber fabric longer than 1.0m is folded for shipment. Don't worry, it will smooth out during application without leaving creases or wrinkles.
