With our ambitrim® Digital Ultra individual components, you can configure your system exactly the way you need it. Build a complete system individually from separate components, expand an existing ambient lighting system, or order individual replacement or additional components.
Available components include light strips in various lengths, parent and child modules, as well as different light sources for footwell lighting, storage compartments, door handles, speakers and other installation locations.
This means you are not limited to the configuration of our complete kits and can decide for yourself which components and quantities you need for your vehicle and your individual installation concept.

The individual components offered here are suitable both for building a new ambitrim® Digital Ultra system from scratch and for expanding or repairing an existing system.
For example, you can individually determine how many light strips, control modules and additional light sources you require. This also allows you to create custom installation concepts that differ from our preconfigured complete kits.

Zone 1 and Zone 2:
The ambitrim® Digital Ultra system operates with two separately controllable lighting zones. Which light source is operated in which zone depends on the respective component.
Zone 1: Light strips, air vents, speakers and Eagle Eyes for Zone 1
Zone 2: Footwell, storage compartment and door handle lighting, air vents and Eagle Eyes for Zone 2

Components from other ambitrim® generations may only be used if they are explicitly marked as compatible.
Not every component offered can be operated individually or without additional components.
When configuring an individual system, make sure that all control modules, cables and connection components required for the desired setup are included.
Observe the maximum permitted number and length of light sources connected to each module.

Before placing your order, check which components you require for your planned system. In particular, connections and the assignment to Zone 1 or Zone 2 may differ depending on the light source and connection component.
If you configure your ambitrim® Digital Ultra system entirely from individual components, you are responsible for selecting the components and quantities required for your specific setup.
Alternatively, our preconfigured ambitrim® Digital Ultra complete kits are available. These already contain the components intended for the selected basic kit and can be expanded with additional equipment options. Suitable for the following models:

The ambient lighting system is designed for professional connection to the vehicle's electrical system. Connection and installation require appropriate knowledge of automotive electrical systems and must be carried out by suitably qualified persons or a specialist workshop.
Direct connection to PWM-controlled vehicle lighting is only permitted if the system and the components used are explicitly designed for this purpose.
Incorrect connection may permanently damage control modules, light strips and other components.
IMPORTANT: Before installation begins, the entire system MUST be fully connected and tested to ensure that it is functioning correctly. In particular, check all controllers, light strips and other light sources before they are shortened, glued into place, installed in trim panels or otherwise permanently fitted in the vehicle.
If you discover a defect during this function test, the affected component must not be installed or further processed. In this case, please contact us before installation. This allows us to quickly and clearly verify a defect that was already present before installation and determine the next steps with you.
If a defect is first reported after installation, it must be determined whether the cause lies with the product itself or with the connection or installation. Damage caused by incorrect connection, incorrect voltage supply, short circuits, crushing, bending, tensile stress, improper shortening or other installation errors does not constitute a product defect.
If individual components or the complete system need to be returned in order to inspect a reported defect, they may need to be removed from the vehicle and sent to us for inspection. Installation that has already been completed does not replace the required technical inspection in the event of a complaint.
Statutory rights relating to defects that were already present at the time of transfer of risk remain unaffected.
Before installation, check whether the light strips and light sources can be installed correctly at the intended location without causing damage.
The light strips must not be excessively bent, crushed or installed under high tensile stress.
Take particular care with the cable transition points of the light strips. These areas are delicate and can be damaged by improper installation.
The light strips can be shortened according to the installation requirements.
Depending on the mounting surface, our ambitrim® light strips can be secured using a suitable plastic adhesive.
Observe the maximum permitted number and length of light sources connected to each module.
Before installation, all controllers used in the system MUST be paired with each other according to the instructions. The required process is explained in the installation video.
Information regarding warning and vehicle functions:
Functions such as the door opening warning and the optionally available blind spot warning system are additional visual information and warning functions. They do not replace factory-installed safety or driver assistance systems and do not relieve the driver of the responsibility to independently monitor traffic and the vehicle's surroundings.
In particular, when changing lanes, turning, overtaking, reversing out of a parking space, opening a vehicle door or exiting the vehicle, the traffic situation must be checked independently regardless of any indication provided by the system. The system does not replace a required shoulder check or any other check of the vehicle's surroundings.
The detection of vehicles, persons or other objects may be limited due to technical factors or specific circumstances. Depending on the installation position, settings, distance, speed, direction of movement, environmental conditions and other factors, incorrect, delayed or missed detections and warnings may occur. The system may also issue warnings even when no actual danger is present.
Therefore, never rely exclusively on the warning functions of the ambitrim® Ultra. Responsibility for safely operating the vehicle and monitoring the traffic situation remains with the driver at all times. Legal information
The ambitrim® Ultra ambient lighting system is intended exclusively for use inside the vehicle. It is not intended for use as externally visible vehicle lighting on public roads.
The lighting must not dazzle, irritate or distract the driver or other road users from the traffic situation.
While driving, no lighting functions may be used that could be confused with mandatory vehicle lighting equipment or warning signals.
