Installation notes:
The surface should be dry, clean, and free of grease to ensure maximum adhesion. It must also be smooth and solid. Weak, porous, or open-pored surfaces as well as overhead applications will not hold without additional spray/brush adhesive. We recommend these two adhesives: Würth Spray Adhesive (for door panels, center consoles, etc.) and Pattex Classic Brush-On Adhesive (for more demanding applications like headliners, dashboards, trunk linings, etc.). Pattex provides a stronger bond than Würth.
Only remove the backing paper completely and straight across the width! For small sections, cut them with the transfer paper still attached and peel it off afterward. For larger sections, it's best to work with two people. Be careful when peeling off the backing – the material becomes very flexible and adheres strongly to itself.
The film is easier to cut with the backing still on. Afterward, use a scalpel or a similarly sharp blade.
The film should not be exposed to direct sunlight. In such cases, we recommend treating it with a protector, such as our Sudworx UV BLOCKER.
Do not use a heat gun. It will damage the fibers and doesn't help with stretching – unlike car wrapping vinyl.
When removing the indivitara, adhesive residues may remain. These can be removed using alcohol-based cleaners.
Shipping notes:
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, the microfiber material will be folded for lengths over 1.0 m. Don't worry – no creases or fold marks will remain after application.
