Installation advice:
The surface should be dry, clean, and free of grease to ensure maximum adhesion of the film. Additionally, the surface must be smooth and load-bearing. Non-load-bearing, porous, and open-pore surfaces as well as overhead installations will not hold without additional spray or brush adhesive. For this purpose, we generally work with these two adhesives: Würth Power Spray Glue (for example, for inlays of door panels, center consoles, etc.) and Pattex Power Adhesive Classic (for more demanding applications such as headliners, dashboards, trunk linings, etc.). The Pattex Power Adhesive Classic generally has stronger adhesion than the Würth Power Spray Glue.
Only pull off the transfer film on the backside across the entire width and straight! If you need smaller pieces, cut these roughly with transfer paper first and then pull it off. For larger pieces, we generally recommend working with two people. Please be careful when removing the transfer film. Once it is off, the indivitara is very flexible and sticks very strongly to itself.
The film is easier to cut when the transfer film is still on. Afterwards, only use a scalpel or similarly sharp knives.
The indivitara should not be directly exposed to the sun, in which case we recommend an impregnation, such as our sudworx UV BLOCKER.
Please do not use a hot air gun. This will only singe the fibers of the fabric and it also doesn't help to stretch something more strongly. This is quite different from vinyl films used in car wrapping.
During the neutralisation (removal) of the indivitara, adhesive residues may remain. These can be removed with alcohol-based cleaners.
Shipping advice:
To keep the delivery costs as low as possible, as of a length of 1,0 meters the microfaber will be delivered folded. Don't worry, there are no folds or kinks remained, when you apply the microfaber.
