We regularly have our fabrics tested by material testing institutes.
Please bear in mind that storage on rolls can initially cause the foam to be less than 2-3mm thick. However, foam with a thickness of 2-3mm is used during the production process.

The surface should be dry, clean and free of grease to ensure maximum adhesion.The surface must also be smooth and stable. Unstable, porous and open-pored surfaces as well as overhead applications will not hold without additional spray/contact adhesive. For these applications, we generally work with these two adhesives: Würth Kraftsprühkleber (e.g. for door panel inlays, center tunnels etc.) and Pattex Kraftstreichkleber Classic (for more demanding applications such as headliners, dashboards, trunk trim etc.). Pattex Kraftstreichkleber Classic generally provides stronger adhesion than Würth Kraftsprühkleber.
Only peel off the release liner on the back across the full width and in a straight line! If you need smaller pieces, roughly cut them to size while the release paper is still attached and only remove it afterwards. For larger pieces, we generally recommend working with two people.
The material is easier to cut while the release liner is still attached. Afterwards, only use a scalpel or similarly sharp knife. For optimal cutting results, we recommend our IYG Keramikklingen.
The material should not be exposed to direct sunlight. In this case, we recommend applying a protective treatment, for example our sudworx UV BLOCKER.
Please do not use a heat gun. It will only scorch the fabric fibers and will not help you stretch the material any further. This is very different from vinyl films used in car wrapping.
When removing indivitara, adhesive residue may remain. This can be removed with alcohol-based cleaners.
Please try to make as few corrections as possible, as the foam may separate from the material when repositioning it (IMPORTANT: This note does not apply to our Foam 2.0).
Due to the additional foam backing, indivitara® Foam is not suitable for areas with very tight gaps, seals or precisely fitting trim parts. For these areas, we recommend our standard indivitara® without foam.
Shipping information:
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, microfiber fabric with a length of 1.0m or more is shipped folded. If there are creases in the fabric itself (not just the backing paper), contact us before applying it.
Foam 2.0 is shipped exclusively rolled. Nevertheless, it is important that you lay the indivitara Foam out flat at room temperature for at least 24 hours after it arrives, so that temporary creases can disappear. Please do not install it beforehand, and if you have any doubts, contact us before application.
