Installation notes:
The surface should be dry, clean and free from grease in order to ensure maximum adhesion of the material.The surface must also be smooth and stable. Unstable, porous and open-pored surfaces as well as overhead applications will not hold without additional spray/contact adhesive. For this, we generally work with these two adhesives: Würth spray adhesive (for example door panel inlays, centre tunnels etc.) and Pattex Classic contact adhesive (for more demanding applications such as headliners, dashboards, boot trims etc.). Pattex Classic contact adhesive generally bonds stronger than the Würth spray adhesive.
Only pull off the transfer film on the back across the full width and in a straight line! If You need smaller pieces, roughly cut them with the transfer paper still attached and only remove it afterwards. For larger pieces, we generally recommend working with two people. Please be careful when removing the transfer film. Once it is removed, indivitara is very flexible and sticks very strongly to itself.
The material is easier to cut while the transfer film is still attached. Afterwards, only use a scalpel or similarly sharp knife. For optimal cutting results, we recommend our IYG ceramic blades.
The material should not be exposed to direct sunlight. In this case, we recommend impregnation, for example with our Sudworx UV BLOCKER.
Please do not use a heat gun. This will only scorch the fibres of the fabric and does not help to stretch it further. This is completely different from vinyl films used in car wrapping.
When removing indivitara, adhesive residues may remain. These can be removed with alcohol-based cleaners.
Shipping information:
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, the microfiber fabric is shipped folded from a length of 1.0 running metres. Don’t worry, no folds or creases will remain after application.
